Pretty sweet man, right next to the card shop and other things *wink* Had several horrible experiences with the manager Vicki. There were far too many occasions where she showed lacked integrity, personally and professionally. Services and rates were reneged, overheard her speaking badly about other employees, also very loud and profane in front of children and guests in the lobby. The list goes on. We will not stay at the Eagle Bay Inn again. If I could put 0 stars I would Vikki the manager is extremely rude. The room had bedbugs and when I called back later for a receipt Vikki told me to stop wasting her time and hung up on me. This is poorly run establishment! worst i've ever dealt with. My mom booked a room, but nobody was there to check her in. There was a sign on the door that said to try two different numbers, and someone would be right with her. One of the two, she left a message, the other directed her to a different number, where she left a second message. 5 hours pass, and she called all three numbers after another hour, still no answer. She ended up booking a room at the westmark instead. 5 STARS! We gad a great stay at Eagle Bay Inn and the whole experience of Sitka. The inn is impeccably clean and the owner and staff are super helpful and accommodating. They were happy to drive and pick us up places, and wouldn't take any money to do so. Out our window we had a great view of the bay across the street where we could watch whales, bald eagles, and the tide go in and out. There was breakfast food and snacks always available. A microwave and fridge are in the room. Also, a restaurant with a wide variety of food is in the same parking lot and a brewery a couple blocks away. The bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend Eagle Bay Inn!
