No trip to Sitka would be complete without a Gallant Adventure with Paul Davis! Paul gets you up close and personal to the islands, coves and wild animals that make Alaska their homes. There were 6 of us on the boat, just the right amount to sit comfortably and walk balk to the stern for photo ops. Paul is friendly, knowledgable and it's obvious that he loves what he does! We were able to see Whale, Otters, Seals and Bald Eagles. My excursion with Gallant Adventures was by far my favorite during my Alaskan cruise! We had an AMAZING time on our boat tour with Gallant Adventures in Sitka! We cruised through narrow passageways and also went to St. Lazaria Island where there were sea caves and puffins. In addition to that, on our tour, we also saw several humpback whales up close, hundreds of sea otters, a gray whale, seals and sea lions, bald eagles and even their nests and on the way home we saw a brown bear walking along the volcano coast. This tour was AMAZING & I highly recommend booking a tour with Gallant Adventures! Our family went out with Paul of Gallant Adventures for a day in 2016. We thought so much of him that we planned our 2017 visit to Sitka around his availability so we could go out with him for 2 days. That should tell you more than 1,000 words possibly could. We will return to Sitka in 2018, and we hope that Gallant Adventures has availability!
