I was so happy to work here. Nice company SSS is a funky little cannery in Sitka. I worked there for a short time and found most of the people working at SSS to be friendly and helpful. The place is like all canneries in AK, it is susceptible to the fish and their showing up in force. If they don't, then the hours can be sketchy. But the bunk house is comfortable and the food is eatable. If you are lucky the tv in your room will work and the cable is free. So when you have those long breaks between long shifts, you can entertain yourself. The town of Sitka is one of the most beautiful in the world, and in summer it is chocked full of tourists from the the big ships that are always there. So if you are considering work in Sitka, then SSS is a good choice, and the town has a pleasent atmosphers about it. How can you go wrong! FYI: they dont can. Agreed, a pretty cool town.
