We stopped for a quick visit as my brother-in-law stated this one of his favourite places to visit while in Sitka, Millie and I loved the place. Quiet, great food and a bookstore that kept us browsing for longer than we planned. We ate, bought a few books and added The Back Door to our list of places to revisit. Cozy hideaway behind Harbor Books. Light meals, coffees. Cheerful service. This is my favorite lunchtime coffee shop in Sitka. Staff are wonderful and they make delicious food and mochas. The atmosphere is friendly and I almost always see people I know. The morning spot for Sitkans. Fantastic homemade sandwiches and desserts. The walls are covered in local art too! No sandwiches. Coffee & treats. Local haunt. Enjoy!
